3 Ways to Use Blue in your Kitchen

We're back in the office officially today and what better way to kickstart the new year then to share with you some of our predictions for 2019 that we'll be using in our projects this year!

Over the last year we have been seeing painted joinery in our kitchens, bathrooms and laundry. We are strong believers in keeping your joinery as timeless as possible but who can't resist a hand painted island bench in washed indigo blues.

We are currently working on a project where the base cabinets are blue and the overhead cupboards are kept in white. The kitchen flows through to all-indigo joinery in the butlers pantry contrasted with a crisp wall of handmade white tiles.

We are going to see pattern return to tiled floors and splash backs however we will continue to use white handmade tiles on our kitchen and bathroom walls. Rather than the classic subway, we are also going back to handmade square and patterned tiles.

Appliance companies are following the french influence of coloured ovens with Suzanne Kasler endorsing her own range for La Cornue that are just as much a feature of the kitchen.
