A Chic Country Home

If you have been following us on Instagram then you would have witnessed the progress of this beautiful renovation project in Bridgeman Downs, Brisbane where we have recently completed Stage 2.  We started with the exterior of the home by providing our clients with vision and inspiration and then we went to work on designing and specifying all the intricate details of the home.  A year later with the home exterior fully renovated, we then started on the downstairs interior.  We had a blank canvas of bare walls and timber floors, the kitchen was due to be replaced and the staircase balustrade needed restoring.  Apart from that, the home had great bones and after 20 years was well overdue for a revamp.  We began by adding millwork panelling to the walls and fireplace.  We worked with our cabinetmaker to design and create bespoke pieces of cabinetry that appeared to be more like furniture pieces rather than built-in cabinetry.  We custom made all the sofas, armchairs and furnishings and tailored made them to suit the space perfectly.  The other furniture items were hand picked for their unique craftsmanship and beauty.  We have still a few more rooms downstairs to complete before heading to the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs.
